Intro -
The RBSE 10th board examination, which includes theoretical and internal evaluation, carries a total of 100 marks each topic. Each theory exam continues 3 hours and 15 minutes. The 100 marks are divided into two categories: 80 for theory exams and 20 for internal assessment. The internal assessment marks are further divided into practical/class assessments, project work, conduct, and attendance.

Reading (15 Marks)
The reading part of the RBSE 10th class English test is given 15 marks. The reading part of the RBSE 10th board examination will include two prose pieces. The two passages will have a combined word count of 350. One section will be truthful, while the other will be conceptual.

Writing (13 Marks)
The RBSE 10th board English exam for writing will include letter writing, short story writing, and writing according to a verbal or visual stimulus. The writing portion in the RBSE 10th board English exam carries 13 marks.

- Personal letter (to friends, relatives, and family members).
- Official letter (to a government official, headmaster/principal, or editor of a newspaper/magazine).

Story writing (4 Marks)
Given An Outline
For short story writing, the student will be given an outline from which to write the story.

Based on a verbal or visual stimulus (image, chart, table)
For the final writing activity, students must write based on a verbal or visual stimulus (image, chart, table) with internal choice.
